Ugh, it's been disgustingly hazy hot and humid lately, with no end in sight. I mean, I've had worse, but that doesn't make it fun. Thank God for central air conditioning.

Is it possible to get a mild concussion after being hit in the head by a basketball (thrown by an uncoordinated 11-year-old)? ( Why I'm asking )

We've known all week that the temperatures were going to drop today, which they did. Rain was forecast for late afternoon/evening, but it didn't sound like snow was too likely, so I didn't think much of it. Except it snowed for several hours this evening! Quick cinnamon rolls (no yeast). I made these on the spur of the moment the last time we were in NJ. The sugar stayed a little bit grainy, but the rolls were still snarfed up very quickly.

So, my head cold was getting better by yesterday - still a bit stuffy, but definitely better. I worked the library in the morning, swung by WalMart after lunch, took MiniPlu to her music lesson and had enough energy for TKD in the evening. I went to bed and ( have been achy and miserable ever since )

So, uh, let's see. Sunday was a pretty ordinary day - laundry, church, grocery, running. The girls moaned that they were bored and, oddly, were not appeased to be given chores and homework and such to keep them occupied. :-P Oh, and we were all recovering from the stupidly early switch to DST.

Today was the first day both girls were essentially normal and their appetites stepped up. MiniPlu is still not quite all the way back, but good enough for us to hit the public library this morning, the pool this afternoon, and the annual staff "welcome-back" barbecue/picnic at the community college this evening.
